Are You Fed Up Yet?

I've made another batch of cards for the charity shop which I can drop off on Saturday, with a bit of luck.  A sample below:

The first ones were made using the Hunkydory member's club free gift....

.... and the next, using die cut shapes which I cut myself......

The butterflies on the ones below were very kindly sent to me by a lovely blog reader 😊 They are gorgeous (you know who you are, thank you!)

These bring the total number donated since March 2025 to 148

I share the images not to gain compliments (although that is lovely) but in the hope that I can inspire design ideas in someone else, but if you're getting fed up with seeing them please say!  I promise I won't be offended 😘

Anyway, thanks so much for popping in.  Stay safe and well wherever you happen to be,

Angie 💗

  1. I think it is brilliant that so many blog friends are sharing in your project. A simple way to help the Hospice Movement! And seeing your cards is an inspiration in lots of ways (ideas for card making, a prompt to be generous, and pretty things to brighten our days) Thank you!!!❤️

  2. They are lovely cards and I especially like the new baby ones with the prams, so cute. It is good to keep a total of cards donated wow 148 to date that must be so satisfying for you to know your work has achieved that much income for the Hospice. How did you come up with the idea? Regards Sue H

    1. If you mean the idea of donating cards for the Hospice shop to sell, Sue, well...I started making cards over 30 years ago after a back injury stopped me working. Over the years I have sold on eBay, at craft fairs, donated surplus stock to charity shops, and for about 2 years (when we lived in the park home) a shop owner bought them from me. She paid £1 each and sold them for £1.99 each. And that was around 10 years ago. I NEED to craft to keep me sane! On a whim I asked the manageress in the Hospice shop if she was interested in taking some and she snapped them up. The rest, as they say, is history :) I enjoy a bit of 'me' time and the Hospice raises funds. A win, win situation.

  3. The cards you make are beautiful and so different to the generic ones found in shops. Its been very hot here and forecast to get warmer. I seem to be watering the garden every night and dread to think what our water bill will be. Fortunately our gas/electric bills are considerably lower in this house. Have a lovely weekend. Xx

    1. Our water butts are empty, Gill, so I kind of dread our water bills too. We do try to save a little water by using the 'run off' before the shower warms up and also using a bucket or two from my cool bath water. But we need RAIN don't we !
I hope your weekend has been lovely xx

  4. I'm not at all fed up, your cards are lovely, and you are prolific. The Hospice shop seems to have found a steady stream of customers that also appreciate all your hard work.

Feeling Sluggish, a Treat, & Another Donation

We have had a very sluggish start to the new week.  My motivation has completely flown out of the window 😟 but a couple of sleepless night...
