Reaching the Century & Simple Pleasures....

Another busy day today, this time we had errands to run in the village including dropping off another batch of cards at the shop.  It's always lovely to have a little chat with the staff who are friendly and welcoming each time I visit.  Today's cards (a sample below) bring the total up to 100 so far this year......

Afterwards, we drove the short distance to the park for a brisk walk in the fresh air, then homemade sandwiches were eaten in the car before consuming a welcome pot of tea in the warm cafe 😀 Simple pleasures....

What simple pleasures do you enjoy? Keep it clean please!! 😂

Thanks for dropping by.  Do stay safe and well wherever you happen to be,

Angie ❤️

  2. Lovely cards gosh you are a star! We love a country walk, or an amble along the seafront (we are lucky and live in a seaside town), we also often visit some marshland not far away with free parking and do some bird watching and then go to a small tea rooms and have a coffee or tea which is quite reasonable. We love the outdoors and it is mostly free apart from sometimes parking fees. Regards Sue H

    1. Oh that sounds wonderful, Sue. We love the smell of the sea and long to walk along a sandy beach again. Birdwatching and a tea shop sound great too. Im getting full use from my birding App at the moment. It's amazing how it picks up the calls even if I can't see them ☺️

  4. One hundred already, you are doing amazingly well. My current favourite simple pleasure is a coffee and two crumpets in Booths café with Alan before we go food shopping. It has the added benefit of filling me up, so I'm not tempted to buy too much that I don't actually need.

  8. 100 beautiful handmade cards and it is only the start of March. That is amazing. My simple pleasure is being able to sit out in the garden again and hear the birds singing. I'm also very glad that the frogs have been busy in my pond. 😊
