Is it worth the effort?

On Sunday we had the usual half price electricity offer between 11am and 4pm.  It's a bit of an effort to use it effectively, as I have to resist the temptation of putting the washing machine on before 11am and I'm clock watching 👀 But, yes, I think it is.....

I seem to be saving just under £1 each week and so far have saved £5.23 in total since I took up the offer a few weeks ago.  The money gets knocked off my monthly bill and anything is very welcome.

Frugal things done:
2 loads of washing ✔
2 loads of tumble drying✔
Baking✔
Vacuuming throughout✔

 My reward 😉

Thanks for popping in.  Stay safe and well wherever you happen to be,
Angie 💗

  1. Ooh, I think I would be trying to find anything else I could, just to get ahead and use electricity during those magic hours. Ironing (not that I actually do any), boiling a kettle or two and making up a flask of coffee for later. That's it I've dried up for ideas but I'm sure there are more. :-)

You deserve the reward, saving around £50 a year is not to be sniffed at..

    1. Crikey, it didn't actually click that it's actually saving £50 per year ! That's a lot of money :) I couldn't fill a flask because Graham had taken my one and only flask to work, but it's a brilliant idea and I did do all the ironing but forgot to list it....lol...
